Nike pro Cooper Teare ran a World Athletics standard in the men's 1,500 meters, clocking 3:34.81 in a rain shower at Hayward Field in the Oregon Twilight Meet. Teare's time broke the McChesney 1,500 meet record of 3:35.96 set last year by Notre Dame's Yared Nuguse.
